Sloris

A master theremin player and pacifist.
A Clockwork Purr's best friend.

Sloris is a gentle soul whose life revolves around the haunting, otherworldly melodies of the theremin—an instrument he treats as an extension of nature itself. Growing up in a woodland commune of harmony-seeking animals, he discovered the theremin by chasing will-o’-the-wisps at dusk, learning to control it with unseen gestures. This ethereal mastery earned him the role of musical mediator among his peers.

He met A Clockwork Purr—his creative counterpart—during a nocturnal sound experiment. Their first collaboration, titled “Ether & Analog,” layered Sloris’s shimmering theremin over Purr’s analog synth pads, creating a resonant sound field that seemed to slow time. Their bond goes beyond music; Sloris’s pacifist nature balances Purr’s introspective ambition.

On tour, Sloris often performs in forest clearings, caves, and animal-built sanctuaries. His theremin solos are used in mediation ceremonies—bringing conflicting groups into shared calm. He actively declines loud, commercial stages, believing his role is to heal through sound, not dominate it.
